LANGUAGE APPRAISAL AND TRAINING COURSE STRUCTURE

Oral and written appraisal

No matter what the project, we make sure that we collect as much information as possible so that we can offer a training course of the highest quality that best suits the situation.

The data collected is recorded on a requirement analysis sheet kept alongside the written assessment form and completed if necessary during the oral interview.

An appraisal summarises the information collected: past language experience, current abilities, objectives, personal requests.

The language level is specified according to a 5 level scale.

The course

Our personalised training course structure comprises:
• a reminder of the pupil's current level, objectives, and the level he or she is aiming to reach,
• the type of course (considering availability, the time scale set and any financial restrictions),
• each stage depends on the short-term, medium-term and long-term objectives set.

Courses are supervised by a team of 2 or 3 teachers and a pedagogical co-ordinator.

It is essential to have a variety of teachers
• different accents (particularly advisable in English),
• interaction with different people.

The details about the course are recorded in your personal teaching file, which represents a vital working document to ensure continuity and follow-up between the Pedagogical Management and the teachers.

Pedagogical follow-up

Your pedagogical review comprises:
• the results of the assessments carried out during and at the end of the course,
• a test to check the knowledge acquired after every 10 units,
• the test at the end of your course,
• a progress report is then drawn up by the Pedagogical Management for each group and for each individual pupil, also giving advice.
